This Cookie Policy explains how ZFRNexus LLC (“ZFRNexus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on https://zfrnexus.com (the “Site”). It should be read with the Website Privacy Policy. The technologies actually deployed at launch must match this Policy and the Site’s cookie-preference mechanism.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small data files stored on or accessed from a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, software development components, and other tools that recognize a browser or device, remember preferences, support security, or measure use. In this Policy, “cookies” refers to cookies and similar technologies unless the context requires otherwise.
2. Categories Used or Planned
| Category | Purpose | Consent Approach |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Operate requested Site functions, maintain security, prevent abuse, route traffic, and remember privacy choices. | Used without optional consent where legally permitted because the technology is necessary for the requested service or preference mechanism. |
| Functional / Preference | Remember non-essential settings or improve convenience. | Activated only in accordance with applicable law and the Site’s preference mechanism. No material functional cookies are currently planned at initial launch beyond consent preferences. |
| Analytics | Measure visits and interactions, understand aggregate use, diagnose performance, and improve Site content. | Google Analytics 4 is planned. Where prior consent is required, non-essential analytics will not load or transmit analytics information until the visitor affirmatively permits analytics. |
| Advertising / Targeting | Create advertising audiences, measure advertising, or track activity across unrelated services. | Not planned at initial launch. ZFRNexus must update this Policy and implement required choices before activating these technologies. |
3. Current and Planned Technology Table
The following table reflects the disclosed launch configuration. Exact identifiers and durations may vary by technical configuration and provider changes. ZFRNexus should complete a production cookie and tag scan immediately before launch and update this table if the scan identifies additional technologies.
| Provider / Technology | Identifier or Storage | Purpose | Typical Duration / Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZFRNexus or consent-management provider | Preference identifier (exact name to be confirmed after implementation) | Records the visitor’s cookie choices so the Site can honor them. | Set according to the implemented preference tool; recommended review target of six to twelve months, subject to configuration and law. |
| Google Analytics 4 | _ga | Distinguishes browsers for aggregate audience measurement. | Up to two years by default; ZFRNexus should use the shortest commercially reasonable configuration consistent with its measurement needs. |
| Google Analytics 4 | _ga_<measurement-id> | Maintains session and campaign state for the applicable GA4 property. | Up to two years by default; actual name and duration depend on the deployed property and settings. |
| Vercel | Hosting, routing, security, or diagnostic technology, if deployed | Hosts and delivers the Site and may process technical request information. A standard production page may not require a visitor-facing cookie, but the final scan controls. | Session or provider-configured, if any. |
| Sanity | Content-management requests, if any reach the visitor browser | Supplies Site content. Any browser storage depends on the production implementation. | To be confirmed by final scan. |
| Resend contact form | No visitor cookie currently expected solely from form email delivery | Transmits contact-form content to ZFRNexus. | No persistent cookie expected; confirm in production. |
| Calendly | Third-party technologies after the visitor follows the external link | Allows a visitor to schedule through Calendly’s separate website. | Governed by Calendly after the visitor leaves the Site. Calendly is not planned to be embedded at launch. |
| Honeypot spam control | Hidden form field; no persistent cookie expected | Helps detect automated submissions. | Request/session only, if applicable. |
4. Google Analytics Configuration
If Google Analytics 4 is activated, ZFRNexus should configure it for limited audience measurement rather than advertising. At launch, ZFRNexus should:
- integrate the analytics tag with the Site’s consent mechanism and, where prior consent is required, use a basic consent or equivalent no-load configuration so Google Analytics does not load, set or access analytics cookies, or transmit analytics measurements before the visitor affirmatively permits analytics;
- avoid activating Google Signals, advertising personalization, remarketing, user-provided data collection, or links to Google Ads unless separately reviewed and disclosed;
- avoid sending names, email addresses, contact-form message content, protected health information, or other directly identifying or sensitive information in page URLs, event parameters, or analytics fields;
- configure user- and event-level retention to fourteen months or a shorter available period and review the setting periodically;
- filter internal and developer traffic where practical; and
- verify the deployed tag and consent behavior with an appropriate tag-debugging tool before launch and after material changes.
5. Managing Choices
Where the Site provides a cookie-preference tool, visitors may accept all optional cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage categories. Rejecting non-essential cookies should be as accessible as accepting them. Withdrawing consent should be available through a persistent “Cookie Preferences” link or equivalent control.
Visitors may also use browser controls to block or delete cookies. Browser settings may affect Site functionality and do not necessarily prevent all forms of measurement. Instructions vary by browser and device.
6. External Links and Third-Party Services
The Site may link to publications, LinkedIn, Calendly, and other third-party services. Following an external link may allow that third party to use its own cookies and similar technologies. ZFRNexus does not control third-party technologies after the visitor leaves the Site. Review the third party’s notices and controls.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy when technologies, providers, purposes, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted with an updated date. If we add newsletter tools, embedded scheduling, online payment, downloadable resources, video embeds, advertising, pixels, a public AI feature, or materially different analytics, we will evaluate and update the cookie controls and disclosures before activation.
